Dance etiquette
1. Arrive to dance dance classes on time. The warm-up is important for your own safety to avoid injury.
2. Wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and work out. You can wear a full "performance look" or come to classes in sweatpants without makeup. You are welcome to attend classes just as you are! If you wear training sneakers or high heels for dancing during class, make sure they don't leave marks on the floor.
3. Pay attention to your dance buddies: Say hello to everyone when you arrive and leave. Remember to encourage and create positive energy around you! Through your own actions, you can influence the atmosphere of the whole group. Don't always take a front row place for yourself, but give space to others as well. Don't speak while the teacher or other students are speaking, wait for your turn. It is not allowed to criticise, discriminate or bully others during classes. Let's create a good atmosphere together!
4. If you experience or witness bullying, discrimination or inequality in class, report it to the teacher so that the matter can be addressed.
